“Energy efficiency in condominiums problems and opportunities”:
The Piemonte OSS involves the condominium managers

The first online workshop organised on April 7th by Piemonte Region and Environment Park to promote the activity of the newborn One-Stop-Shop in Piemonte was a great success.
The key topic was “Energy efficiency in condominiums: problems and opportunities” and about 150 persons, mainly condominium managers, attended. Besides the presentation of the regional OSS services, the event has been an opportunity to clarify doubts about the “energy bonus” available within the framework of the actual Italian legislative for the energy refurbishment of residential buildings.
A roundtable with the representatives of the associations of the main stakeholders involved (building construction companies, condominium administrators, architects, engineers, accountants, lawyers and banks) represented an opportunity to highlight the benefits that can be obtained and the main obstacles that must be faced in order to successfully undertake and complete a deep renovation project by taking advantage of the bonuses. Among the main problems which were pointed out there is the rise in construction materials prices and the lack of skilled workforce, while a networking and cooperation activity between the involved stakeholders and a more stable and clear legislation are highly recommended.
The event was also organised thanks to the cooperation of the Condominium Managers Association.
