“EUROPA Feasibility Study”

19/07/2023

The EUROPA Feasibility Study evaluated the implementation of the EUROPA model for the most promising replication partners trained during the EUROPA Mentoring Programme.

All participants developed both a business model canvas and performed a SWOT analysis of their association/agency to assess the efficiency of the EUROPA developed instruments and materials, especially the Energy Efficiency Subscription (EES). The organizations that took part into the Feasibility Study process are Goiener S. Coop, Agenzia per l’Energia e lo Sviluppo Sostenibile (AESS), and the Association SERAFIN.

The analysis revealed a variety of both challenges and opportunities that can be improved via standardization. The EES as an approach can be implemented in multiple contexts, which demonstrates the unique advantage despite the existing limitations. The EES model standardizes and integrates services not only within one country’s context but has the potential to do it at the EU level.

Clarity and transparency remain key trigger points for energy renovation scalability, which is delivered through the Integrated Home Renovation Services (IHRS) and the EES.
